Lynn Woodard has over 30 years experience as a motivational speaker addressing stake and regional audiences including Youth, Single Adults and Relief Society Sisters. Her passion for teaching began as a young missionary serving in the Salt Lake City North Mission where she was one of the first full-time Sister missionaries to serve on Temple Square. Lynn shares insights on overcoming adversity using her love of the scriptures, a positive outlook and personal experiences as a two time cancer survivor.

As a survivor of sexual abuse Lynn is an authority on overcoming its damaging affects and learning to trust the Lord and live a life full of hope.  She has addressed large audiences in stake and regional settings conducted by local leaders as well as LDS Social Services. Her topics address the damaging effects of childhood abuse with specific attention to prevention and the hope and healing process.

Her church service experiences include Ward Young Women, Primary, and Relief Society President, Seminary teacher, and ward Humanitarian specialist.  She currently serves as a ward missionary in the Star 2nd ward.  For 9 years Lynn cataloged her life's experiences in her "Learning From Life" blog which currently has over 500,000 views.  These vital lessons were captured to help others seek hope beyond their own personal challenges.

Lynn and her husband Jeff have been married 40 years and are the parents of four children and   grandchildren.
